Pluriel: sallies

Certain Australian eucalypts and wattles thought to resemble the willow (genus Salix) in habit or foliage. Two species recognized in the timber industry are the black sally Eucalyptus stellulata found in New South Wales and Victoria and the white sally Eucalyptus pauciflora of South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales.
